BeBo® certified instructorYour pelvic floor needs space, not just strength
Pelvic floor training in Berlin and online. As a mum with a hypertonic pelvic floor myself, I know how it feels, and I'm here to guide you.

So glad you are here!
Most women experience pregnancy and the birth of their child as the most beautiful time of their lives and, at the same time, one of the most challenging.
I know this experience intimately from my own story, and I understand that a muscle that cannot relax will paradoxically also lose its strength. It is my heartfelt mission to help you avoid this painful experience and find the balance between strong support and gentle release.
I am here to listen and to walk alongside you on your journey: with expertise, warmth, and a little humour, because laughter is relaxing.
Your pelvic floor during pregnancy
Pregnancy means not only that a new life is growing, but also that you are getting to know yourself in a whole new way. It is a time of searching and discovering. Often it is exactly this moment when you begin to listen to your body on a deeper level. Amid all the questions, thoughts about your pelvic floor tend to surface. It is the hidden foundation of your strength, which provides stability during pregnancy and, as the most important muscle during birth, needs above all to be able to do one thing: let go.
After birth: strength through release
The postpartum period and recovery bring their own challenges too. We often hear that we need to get "strong" again and everything should become "tight" again. What gets overlooked: more and more women suffer from a hypertonic pelvic floor after birth, meaning the muscles are chronically over-tensed and have forgotten how to release. The problem: women often confuse a hypertonic pelvic floor with a weak one. In trying to "strengthen" it, they do more exercises and wonder why their symptoms aren't improving, or are even getting worse.
You are heard
I know firsthand how real these struggles are. Every woman comes with her own story, and I take it seriously.
No taboo
When I was struggling with my own pelvic floor, it felt hard to talk about. Let's change that together: openly and without shame.
At your pace
I know the pressure to bounce back quickly. With me, there is none. We go at whatever pace feels right for you.
Why your pelvic floor matters
The pelvic floor plays a crucial role in your health, your continence and your quality of life
of women are affected by pelvic floor dysfunction (Peinado-Molina et al., BMC Public Health 2023)
of women over 50 report pelvic floor complaints, even more frequently in Germany (Schreiber Pedersen et al., 2017)
of women improve significantly with targeted pelvic floor training (Cochrane Review, Dumoulin et al. 2018)
A hypertonic pelvic floor is increasingly recognised. Not only weakness but also over-tension can cause symptoms
BeBo® (Beckenboden) is a Swiss quality standard for evidence-based pelvic floor training, recognised in gynaecology, obstetrics, and physiotherapy.
6 key functions of the pelvic floor
Posture & Balance
Supports body balance and promotes upright posture
Organ support
Holds pelvic organs (uterus, bladder, rectum) in place
Bladder
Supports the bladder and helps prevent bladder weakness and involuntary urine loss
Bowel function
Helps control bowel movements and prevents incontinence
Pregnancy
Supports the growing baby and is the most important muscle during birth
Sexual health
Contributes to sexual sensation and satisfaction
Too tight is not too strong
More and more women have a hypertonic pelvic floor: the muscles are permanently tense and have forgotten how to release. Strengthening exercises then make the symptoms worse rather than better.
